You know how it goes…everything seems to be working on your car, even if you’ve skipped a couple of service appointments. But the whole truth is, even though it’s running, it’s not running as efficiently as it could. You may have saved a few bucks in skipping the service, and you certainly saved some time not sitting around a service department, but in the long run, it costs you money. Poorer gas mileage. Rough idling. Perhaps a major breakdown when you least expect (or want) it to happen.
Funny. Sales organizations are like that too. They seem to be working, even if you’re not servicing them regularly. But they may not be operating at peak efficiency, and that may be costing your business several times what you think you might be saving by not doing the necessary maintenance.
